Jenny’s Story
Jenny an intelligent, 27 year old woman came to see me for help with her low self confidence and poor self esteem. She had joined a prestigious firm of accountants several years earlier but felt something was holding her back. Especially in terms of interactions with colleagues and potential boyfriends etc. She felt she was being overlooked for promotions because she came across as shy. As well as rarely putting her point across during meetings.
On the outside many would have been envious of Jenny’s life. But she lacked self belief, felt unhappy and was secretly depressed. During our discussions we found there were several deep rooted issues that were affecting the way Jenny perceived herself. We addressed those issues and her self esteem improved dramatically.
